I really was determined. You see, I was planning on doing a blogging break over Christmas, so I could finally relax. Just prepare some new posts.

And film a favorites video.

A short one, covering makeup and skincare.

But it seems I can´t do short. After rambling on for hours and then trying to edit it down, I surrendered. And accepted the fact that I had to do two videos. With two blogposts. And fit them into an already packed blogging and vlogging schedule.

The only time left was – you guessed it – the time between Christmas and NYE. So here I am, wearing a face mask, eating cookies and typing a blogpost. That seems to be my kind of Christmas break.

Not that I am complaining, I mean, I get to talk about all the lovely stuff I discovered in 2016. Only the 2016 discoveries made it into the video, otherwise we would be sitting here tomorrow. But still it was a lot. And the skincare part will be even longer!

I will save skincare for January 1st, so you can watch it while nursing your hangover.
